Do not deny yourselves to each other, unless you first agree to do so for a while in order to spend your time in prayer; but then resume normal marital relations. In this way you will be kept from giving in to Satan's temptation because of your lack of self-control. - 1 Corinthians 7:5

Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her. - Proverbs 5:18-19

Your stature is like a palm tree; your breasts are clusters of fruit. I said, "I will climb the palm tree and take hold of its fruit." May your breasts be like clusters of grapes, and the fragrance of your breath like apricots. - Song of Solomon 7:7-8

Hi! My name is MaryBeth, and something interesting happened a few years ago. I was reading the news while eating lunch, and I saw a link to an article about a pastor who challenged the married couples in his congregation, from the pulpit, to have sex every night for a week. My first thought was, "Oh my, I hope he has another job lined up somewhere!" You see, I was raised in a church - and a family, for that matter - where sex was a forbidden topic. It was never discussed or even hinted at. I just shook my head at the naiveté of the poor pastor to bring something like that up in church.

To my shock and surprise, a number of other pastors around the nation picked up the gauntlet and gave their flocks the same challenge. I had to stop and think about that. For me, that was the first step in a journey of discovery... what is the relationship between Christians and the marriage bed? It's been enlightening, and so I simply wanted to share some of those things in this simple little site. As the site expands you'll find news stories, commentaries by pastors, some of my own thoughts, and maybe even a bit of Christian Erotica (yep, that's what I said!). Most of these are links to other folks' thoughts, so please keep in mind that I'm not necessarily endorsing these third-party ideas, I'm just offering them up for your own personal contemplation. I have no regular update schedule for this site, but please come back every now and then to check it out.
